What is the booking process? (1) Call/email for date inquiry and receive a basic info sheet. (2) Book a consultation/cake tasting. (3) Sign a contract and pay deposit which secures the date. (4) Payment due in full 2 weeks before the wedding. (5) Your wedding cake of your dreams arrives at your venue!
How soon should I place my order? As soon as possible. Some dates book as far as a year out.
What can I do to secure my date? If you're not able to book a consultation right away, your date can be seured with a $200 deposit. Call for more info. You have up to one month prior to the wedding to finalize your design.
Do you rent cake stands? Yes, I have several cake stands to choose from.
Can I use my own cake stand? Yes! We can make sure the dimensions are correct during consultation.
What is your signature cake flavor? French vanilla with a hint of almond, topped with luscious buttercream icing.
Do you make cakes other than wedding cakes? I primarily do wedding cakes but I also do occasionally do make event cakes.
Do you offer tastings? Complimentary consultations are done by appointment only Monday through Wednesday 9:00 am - 6:30 pm. The rest of the week is dedicated to working on wedding cakes for the weekend.

How many cake servings should I order? The typical guideline for wedding cake servings is to take the number of guests and subtract 20%.
Do you do groom's cakes? Yes, anything and everything you could imagine! From interests to hobbies to careers--whatever the groom wants. Even a basic traditional groom cake with chocolate-dipped strawberries. Many brides even surprise their grooms.
Do you make sugar-free or gluten-free cakes? No, because I'm known for my signature recipe. But we will make special dietary accommodations for the bride and groom. Ask during your consultation for more details.
How is the cake delivered? All cakes are delivered and hand-assembled on-site on your wedding day.
Am I restricted to one flavor? No, we can do multiple flavors in one cake.
Can you make a cake for my outdoor wedding? Yes! We have done many outdoor weddings. If your date is during the summer, the cake could be delivered at a later time (possibly during the ceremony) to avoid any damage from heat/humidity.
Should I serve the top tier of my cake or save it for my 1st anniversary? When booking a wedding with me, you get the 6-inch top tier as a free gift to save. If stored properly, clients often call back and compliment me a year later.
Do you travel? Yes! I am frequently traveling the state of Alabama and surrounding states. I have driven as far as 500 miles for a wedding.
Where do you bake the cakes? A state-of-the-art kitchen in my home.

Can I pick up my wedding cake? Due to the complexity involved, my staff and I deliver and assemble the cake on the day of your wedding.
Do you cut the cake? No, I do not provide a cake-cutting service. Check with your caterer or venue.
